Lingfield House is registered to provide regulated activity of personal care for adults with learning disabilities within the accommodation. Existing and or new service users may also present with past or present mental health disorders requiring care, treatment or support.
Lingfield House is a six bedroom house about 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Four bedroom are situated upstairs, one of each has a en suite, and two on the ground floor which one is en suite and the other has a shower room.Each service user bedroom has been individually personalised with their own possessions, creating personal space and ensuring privacy.All bedrooms have washbasins . The room meet the pre-existing requirements of the National Minimum Standards 2002.The house has a reasonable sized bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs..There is a large lounge and combined dinning room with patio doors that lead to the garden.There is also a kitchen, laundry facilities and staff office.The house has a large cellar which is used for COSHH and related storage.The garden is secluded with access from the house at the lounge and kitchen.Threes provide privacy for residents and neighbours.The house has been decorated and furnished to a high standards. This is maintained with an ongoing maintenance plan. This plan includes service users room. Service users are consulted on the interior decor, changes in the environment or facilities, and provided with choice to reflect their preferences.
We aim to provide personalised care,treatment and support to people with learning disability living within our accommodation. We provide a range of support with personal care and this is without nursing care. We aim for service users to experience real, constructive outcomes, expressed through their lifestyle and to have opportunities for fulfilment , as a result of choosing to use the services we provide.
