The service provides opportunities for individuals to equip themselves with the skills they need to live the life they choose.  We support all service users as individuals and support everybody that lives at Ashlee Lodge to be as independent as they can be. We have service users that are not verbally communicative, and we ensure we provide everyone with the tools to be able to communicate as effectively as they can. This includes promoting the use of Makaton, using pictures and objects of reference.

Ashlee Lodge is a three-storey detached house. It is situated in a quiet residential street in Bexhill-on-Sea, within walking distance of the seafront and local amenities.  Train and bus services are available close to the house.  Buses run at regular intervals and rail services to London operate from the local train station. A house vehicle is also available.

There is a spacious communal lounge, dining room and sensory room in the house. A kitchen and laundry are available for service users to use with supervised access. Ashlee Lodge boasts a small secure patio garden with seating for those sunny days. We have 5 individual single bedrooms. One bedroom has an en-suite toilet with a basin, and 4 bedrooms have basin facilities. There are 2 bathrooms, both have a bath and 1 has a separate shower cubicle.
